Cabeçare PT
The atelier · since 2013

From a workshop at home to the haute-couture atelier that crossed Brazil — and reached the United States.

Cabeçare treats the headboard and the bed as a piece of tailoring: designed, cut and sewn by hand, made to measure, for each client’s bedroom. This is the story of how we got here — without ever giving up the care of the atelier.

Cabeçare haute-couture atelier
Our story

A decade of haute couture

  1. 2013

    The beginning, at home

Cabeçare started as a family, artisanal business — a small workshop set up at home, run by one or two people, sewing each piece by hand. That founding care has never left us.

  2. 2019

    The first store

We moved from the home workshop to our first physical store: a 30 m² space in a shopping center, dedicated to headboards only. Four months went by without a single sale — and then the pandemic arrived, closing the doors before the first one came.

  3. 2020

    Going digital

With the doors closed, we went all in on online: Instagram, Google and a website. We invested in real photography and video to reach people at home — and, for the first time, customers far beyond Curitiba. The first sales came, and with them our first launches.

  4. 2021

    From workshop to small factory

A growing portfolio and team called for larger, more professional production — without ever giving up the handcrafted side that is the heart of our atelier. We went from headboards only to complete upholstered beds. We started with a single model — and it went viral for its care, flawless finishing and tailoring-level stitching. Drawing on Italian, Russian and Belgian references, we began creating signature, inimitable designs.

  5. 2023

    A store to match

We moved to a ~150 m² space, with around 12 signature beds. We deepened the details — metal profiles, distinctive stitching, standard and made-to-measure headboards, and fully custom beds for architects and designers. That is when large stores began reselling our beds for R$ 35–40k. We chose the opposite path: bringing haute couture straight to the client, at a fair price.

  6. 2024

    Refining every detail

A year devoted to refining materials and finishes and launching new signature models — always raising the standard of every piece.

  7. 2025

    The biggest leap

We began the year with 24 beds — and it was the biggest growth in our history. In a single year, we grew more than in all the previous ones, both in portfolio and in how clients and architects across Brazil see us.

  8. 2026

    Cabeçare goes international

Today there are 34 beds in the portfolio, on the way to 44 by the end of 2026. And we took our biggest leap: driven by demand from abroad — above all from the United States — we opened our first atelier in Florida, where the pieces for the US market are now handcrafted, serving the entire state. The design stays Brazilian; production for the US happens in Florida. Cabeçare operates across every state in Brazil and, now, manufactures and delivers in the US as well.

The jewel of the bedroom, at a fair price

Our purpose is simple and demanding: to deliver a haute-couture bed of the highest standard, at a price that fits the project — straight from the atelier to the client, without the abusive resale markup. It is this combination of tailored finishing and accessible price that makes Cabeçare an inimitable difference in the market.

Trusted by clients and by big names

Our beds and headboards already dress bedrooms across Brazil — and have won over those who live by good taste. Juliana Salimeni reached out for a Cabeçare haute-couture bed in her own bedroom; Pedro Vitor and Aline Cavanellas also chose our haute couture.
